A resident of Rockville for 50 years, Brigitta Mullican is running for Rockville City Council because she cares deeply about her city. She is a founding member and former president of the Rockville Sister City Corporation (RSCC). As a part of her work with Rockville's sister city of Pinneberg, Germany, she has hosted exchange students and adults and travelled to Pinneburg many times. She was a participant in festivities surrounding the 50th Anniversary of the Rockville-Pinneberg Sister City Relationship in Pinneberg and Rockville. She has served the city of Rockville in numerous capacities, including as member of the Rockville Planning Commission and the Rockville Board of Supervisors of Elections. She is also an active volunteer with the Montgomery County League of Women Voters.
